Who I am?

Hi Im Ben

A friendly and easily approachable uni student studying a Commerce/Science double degree at Monash University. Since I have began tutoring I have developed a passion for educating minds and assisting students reaching their pinnacle which is certainly within reach for most

What are my Qualifications

I have been tutoring so far for 2 years, with much positive feedback, in particular I have helped a number of students achieve study scores well over 40, and improved grades from near fail to top of the class.

Geography (study score of 50, including premiers award)
Accounting ( a study score of 47)
Chemistry (a study score of 42)

I completed VCE in 2008 and finished with an enter of 98.85

In relation to university, so far I have achieved all High Distinctions in my studies with a weighted average mean of 91%.

What I offer?
I have been tutoring now for a number of years and feel that rote-learning is not the answer when it comes to education. I target concepts and ideas and try to areas of information together in order to make things simpler and for a better understanding. I find this is the best way, as then the student can apply the knowledge.

Over time I have developed my own series of tricks and ideas to maximise time and efficiency in all subjects. In addition to this I offer notes, and in particular questions and handouts as I believe that applying knowledge is the critical element to succeeding in VCE.

Im happy to tutor both individuals and groups, I live in Caulfield and frequently around Clayton, and I am willing to travel as well.
