Re: Recipies Suggestion

Pan Bread - ridiculously quick and easy to do, tastes yummy!

Ingredients: Butter, Sliced Bread (thick is best), Parmesan Cheese

Utensils: Frying pan, butter knife and small bowl

Instructions:
Mix up some butter and parmesan cheese in the small bowl - enough cheese so that the butter becomes very grainy, and enough butter to thickly coat the bread on one side.

Make sure the pan is nice and hot, and whack the buttered bread butter-side down and keep it there for about a minute, minute and a half until a light golden brown. You can cook the other side for a little while too, if you like things toasted. :)

Ta da!

Fruit Salad- Sweet, Healthy and YUM!

Ingredients: Apple, Watermelon, rockmelon, Banana, Pears, Strawberries, Kiwis, any other fruits

Utensils: A large bowl, chopping board, Knife, something to stir/mix

Instructions:
Dice/Chop/Slice whatever the fruits up, and mix them together in the large bowl :D :D :D

Place it in the fridge to cool it. Serves 4+

Dunno if people add salt to these fruits to prevent it from going brown

2 minute noodles < 5minutes prep time
(obviously)

But seriously... 5 minutes isn't a very long time. even 2 minute noodles end up taking about 5 minutes. Hmm, i'll give this more thought then post something constructive.

Scrambled Eggs:

Mix 4 eggs in a bowl with salt. Oil the pan, add some butter if you feel like a little extra fattening ;), cook and leave it yellow and fluffy. Eat with rice or bread or bacon. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner of champions.

this is something i like to make often when we need a quick sunday night meal. usually we have it with a barbeque chicken and another salad, such as a greek one. :)

cold hokkien noodle salad

you need:
- 175g pack of hokkien noodles
- 1 capsicum
- 1 tin of baby corn spears
- a couple of handfuls of snow peas
- sweet chilli sauce

separate noodles in a bowl of boiling water, chop capsicum, de-string and blanch snow peas for a couple of minutes in boiling water, add ingredients together in a large salad bowl, add tin of baby corn, add sweet chilli sauce as per your tastes, mix well and enjoy. :D

OMFG - This is a disgrace!.

5 minute pizza (depending on if you have oven or not).

Microwave = 2minutes
Buy pizza bases nad you favourtie toppings.

Spread Tomata Paste/Sauce on the bread.

Put Cheese on top (ur favourite one)

Then put toppings (cooked meat!, not raw lol)
Microwave for two minutes.

Oven = More time but tastes better.

Same as above but preheat oven to anyting above 180c.
Keep it in for 5 minutes.

more recipes on the way.

Tomato toast - best snack ever, i swear. if you like tomato, that is.

Ingredients:
-Bread
-Butter (if you want, i hate the stuff but everyones different)
-Tomato
-Salt/Pepper/Cheese if desired.

Equipment:
-toaster
-knife
-plate (optional if you're on the go or just lazy)

Method:
-place bread in toaster and toast it
-while this is happening slice some tomato with the knife
-put tomato and whatever else you're doing (butter, pepper, whatever) on toast
-eat it

time: 5 mins, less if your toaster actually works properly.

it scrambles in literally 2 seconds if you put milk in. i've never tried it without, but i'd think it'd turn into more of a omelete

french toast.

3 eggs+a bit of milk+sugar to taste. Beat it, dip bread in it (usually 4 slices uses up all ingredients said). heat pan with a bit of vego oil, about 30 seconds each side of the bread. Done.

glucose syrup pops (take more than 5 mins kinda..but still).

get a baking tray, lay out skewers, pour glucose syrup (or honey) onto them.. lollipop style, put them in the oven-fan forced on 180 for under 5 mins. Then put in fridge to harden. Healthy lollipops. Or you can heat the syrup up before u pour, then straight into the fridge without using the oven at all. They usually set in half an hour.

melt a fair amount of butter in a pan (warning: this is not for weight conscious people) and fry bread in it. mmmmmm

celery dipped in peanut butter <3

doesnt make them COOK faster, but it scambles them in, as i said, literally 2 seconds.
eg. i planned to make an omelete up the coast; whisked up eggs, added milk (i've made more scrambled eggs than omeletes recently, so i kinda forgot), put in pan with oil, eggs had started to scramble before i had a chance to think about it. end result - scrambled eggs, with tomato, cheese, mushrooms, and a FUCK TONNE of s&p
edit: how do you guys get your scrambled eggs to taste like anything other than oil? or am i just putting too much in?

also if you dont want them to be fat, cook them at a lower heat with less fat, it takes longer, but works out.
