My internal is 76 Rank 76

This is how i went most likely - in a range of marks:

Paper 1
Comprehension - didnt get the darwin poem - (9-11)
Creative - used attached file and further connected it to the question (7 pages 10 words per line) - (12-14)
Essay - i answered it with 2 related texts really well - i think (12-14)

Paper 2
Transformations essay
- focussed on death and afterlife and some on the moral order
- 5 pages
- Directly answered the question
15-17

Wuthering Heights
Dealt with
  • Natural imagery
  • Nelly is limited because of her conventional, religious and moral sentiments, which often prevent her from a greater understanding of the emotions or motives of the characters
  • Speaking as a narrator, her language is lively, colloquial and imaginative,
  • Narrator, a character within her own narrative
  • Impact of Lockwood as a Narrator
  • Reactions of her narrators
  • Series of condensed narratives
  • Nelly’s narrative overly dramatised – e.g. recalling all actions between NHE
  • Variety of other narratives are interspersed throughout the novel
  • How does Bronte support Nelly Dean’s perspective? How does she make her a reliable narrator?
Brought up marxist and feminist interpretations and reception then and the overall love theme etc and linked this all together

Mark: i dont know maybe 14-16

Telling the truth: 14-16 I didnt have time to discuss in enough depth 5 poems i mentioned each in a paragraph, but i focussed on the question

Overall what do you think i can get as a final scaled mark

I know this is difficult to determine, give me a range

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!FINAL MARK 81!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you should have no problem getting a band 5 externally. don't know if it'll be an overall band 5, depending on your internal mark.

Externally, I think you'll get a band five. Overall, you should, but you might just be under the cut-off. I'm guessing in the vacinty of 77 to 84.

But wait

Internal rank: 76/95

What mark will 76th get?
If that is a rank, and not a trial assessment mark, then it will definitely depend on how well your school goes. Remember that the whole grade has to do well in order for a substantial proportion of your form to get into a Band 6 etc.

If you are ranked as such, but do well in the HSC assessment, who knows youll probably get into a Band 4/5. Its very possible, but it depends on your school as well...and how you go...

Best of Luck though!

Hmm...Im ranked 5/96 i think? Raw assessment mark of 95. Dunno how that will translate into marks...but last year my school came 18th in the state..so i hope that is a good omen?!

my internal rank was 1/62, i was told that means if i do badly, everyone else gets crap marks too :(
does anyone know how many marks they take off for forgetting to write the DATE of publication or AUTHOR for any of my texts??! mighty silly, i was panicking. and king lear was a bit of a mess, will be lucky to scrape a band 5 for that.

heyy could someone help me figure out what my final mark for english would be???

For paper one i roughly scored:

section 1: 14-15
section 2 - 12-13
section 3 - 14-15

For paper two:

Module A - 14-15 (bummed out did it last lol)
Module B - 18-20
Module C - 18-20

Im roughly ranked between 2-5 out of 23
Majority of the guys did well at my school who are ranked 1-15. What chances do i have in gettin a 90+ as my final mark ???

Section 3: 12

Paper 2:
