So I have an Extensions assessment due in a week which requires 2 prescribed and 2 supplementary texts.
The essay question is: Significant texts manipulate language in dynamic ways to explore profound ideas about cultures and values. Write an essay in which you explore the extent to which this is true of the texts you have studied in your elective, Language and Gender.
Like others, my prescribed texts are Orlando and Twelfth Night and my supplementary texts are How I Met Your Mother and Barefoot in the Park.
The teacher recommended Barefoot in the Park because she thought I should do a play. But it's format is a movie so does it still count as a play?
And are there any other relatively easy texts I might be able to use?
