Sorry its only brief, spending the day studying and doing practise essays for upcoming trials! ![]() Important scenes - opening scene (funeral and amish setting) Train station - toilet murder - barn raising - eating hot dogs - bathroom scene Themes - Violence vs Pacifism - Collison of two worlds - City vs country - construction of masculinity - police corruption - Religion, values and beliefs - BEARING WITNESS. Structure - orientation - opening scenes, funeral, city - rising action - murder in toilet, book moving to amish world etc - climax - shoot out in barn - falling action - john book has to go, puts bird house up etc - resolution - can't be with rachel, leaves amish world, daniel walks to Rachel's place. Cinematic techniques - camera angles - camera shots - LIGHTING - DIALOGUE - MUSIC - SETTING - COSTUMES

Today, 12:22 AM ![]() | Re: Witness Can't stress this enough. Use more vague scenes for examples. Avoid using popular scenes like the homicide, gunfight and the yelling match between Book and Paul (LOL), the "What a wonderful world(it would be...). Markers will look nicer on stuff they haven't read a million times before. Use scenes like the funeral, the train ride (into a new world?! hint hint related text scene hint ; )), and the whole silent/awkward goodbye scene. Hope I havent burst anyone's bubble. You have a day or two so meh |
