I'm sorry if this is stupid....the guy is probably a troll, but does it actually state anywhere that you can't use the other texts as stimulus?

A troll is a forum member who makes outrageous remarks with intent to spark an emotional response.

Automatic91: It is generally not a good idea to use texts from Section I in your Essay, nor it is a good idea to use a picture, it is strongly advised agaisnt, however I think it is permissable.

Not so much that they don't like it, but as in it's hard to analyse it in a way that hasn't already been done if you know what I mean?

i dont kno i dont think many ppl wil think to use it for essay and i think diff teachers mark esay and short answrs

will ask my teacher on friday im going to sleep

You can use the text as a REFERENCE in your essay, but you can't copy half the text and submit it as your creative piece.

LOOOL at all the comments.
although its not great to use some sections of text 4 because it's meant to be creative so you're meant to think of your own plot, at least you attempted the question... that's a good start.... unlike others who decided to leave it out

Its a long shot, but he did acknowledge his influence and it wasn't completely plagiarised...was it? I don't know how much was used obviously, I haven't seen his creative.
