oi carrot man when x increases by two wouldnt 6x go to 8x therefore let x=4 A= 6 * 4 + 10 = 34 A= 8 * 4 + 10 = 42 so the difference is 8 therefore 2x =8 answer 2x ? can do it with another example , am i right of read querstion wrong?

I don't know what you mean there? Heres another example. Say x=1. A=6x+10. A=16. Now x is increased by 2. So 1 + 2 = 3. Now A=(6*3)+10. A = 28. 28-16=12. So I still get 12. Does that make sense?

It's adding 2 to x. Not 2 to 6x.
