i got so caught up in the exam i did both a and b for the greeks 500-440bc

Punic wars was awesome, the question was perfect, very similar to the trial and an assesment task.

Did you do, or even look at past papers? I did the themistocles section of 500-440 greek world. was easy

I did question B on the Greek World 500-440 BC, was really easy for me
Do you think 5 cources was enough to mention though? :s

they take the first one i wrote about which is the one i did the most writing on... i looked at the clock and thought shit gotta do b and when i didn't finish i was heaps cut. then i was like muhuhahahahha cause b wont count

and i talked about military, political and economic aims of the league and the overall aim of athens to beat sparta in the race to power.

I did Egypt New kingdom to the death of Thut IV. Answered question a) on Nubia. Overall view on the exam. Startling at first, but after applying knowledge, very very simple test. Hope i get 90+ after all, its my best subject.

I was pretty happy with the Fall of the Roman Republic. But the questions seemed quite vague and open to me.

I agree, Themistocles question was quite good - I just ran out of time and didnt get to finish my Xerxes 15 mark response

sigh... Julio-Claudians. I ignored my instinctives to study Nero, instead studied the senate and other emperors.. had to pull my mind out to shift though ANY remnant that i studied for in trials. thats right. its been that long. did only 3 pages.. i didnt write much for the essays.. how much did everyone write? how much are you supposed to write?

I used the whole booklet for the Greek world. For personalities i used about 5-6 pages

I did Greek World 500-440
I was crossing my fingers for a good Persian Wars question because I had no idea about the Delian League, and I got one.
I wrote about development of the navy, tactics, bribery, blackmail, how the navy stopped the Persian supply etc.
