Today, 3:55 PM ![]() | Re: how was it? I thought it was very very vague in the short answer, but other than that it was sooo easy.I did 13 pages for section III on food product development, and 10 for the nutrition one. Ohh i love having family members with diabtes for nutrition (i hate how they never specify between type I and type II) lol

2 Nov 2009, 9:17 PM ![]() | Re: how was it? I was really surprised by the food tech paper, I thought it was hard! My trials (the Catholic ones) were pretty much everything I liked so I guess I went into this one hoping it’d be similar. Hated both the long answer questions, was desperately hoping for something on active non-nutrients, supplements etc. Definitely didn't suit my capabilities and I think it let me down big time. Wasn’t enough on case studies I had done, was really hoping we would have to talk about a company within a sector of the food industry. Even some of the multiple choice threw me off and were confusing. Pretty much all of the past papers I had looked at were easier. |

18 Nov 2009, 2:11 PM ![]() | Re: how was it? Both of the Nutrition long responses kinda threw me a bit... still to this day I have no idea what an "aspect of nutrition" is! Certain we've never used that terminology. I had a heap of time for the essay though, so I included a whole range of information in it- hopefully that covered whatever the "aspects" were. Also, what was the deal with the descriptive terms? Propose? Comment on? I will admit I haven't looked at my definition sheet for a while, but I was pretty sure these weren't the proper terms they should be using. It caused me a lot of difficulty, working out how much detail to put in a quesiton which asked me to "comment on" preservation principles. Overall, I think it was pretty fair, though. The questions involved a lot of application of knowledge, which may work for or against me in the end, I'm definitely hoping for. Band 6, I'm pretty confident with. |
