Is it possible to do a Uni exchange during a Gap Year and would it be through your University?

probably not.

in terms of academic work, ur exchange year is to study new and different electives in your degree area. if you haven't even done your core subjects, then it is not possible to study electives (and hence go on exchange).

but i could be wrong. check with your degree faculty.

Thanks answering my query Frigid. I'm pretty sure you're rigt because that's what I thought as well but I was hoping that I was wrong.
