Overseas work in Gap year? Help! (1 Viewer)

My plan is to work in Japan during gap year 2008. Unfortunatly I have no idea what to do to achieve this. I'm in year 11 doing continuers Japanese. A hand, anyone? ^^

Hi. Why dont you "teach english overseas". Go to teachinternational.com.au. You dont need any experience, you just need to be able to speak english and you just have to complete a TESOL coarse, which you can complete online. English teachers are in popular demand in Asia, especially, China, Korea and Japan. Look into it. Thats what i planned to do next year, but have changed my plans lol. But i would still love to do it in a few years. Its a great way to travel and get paid for it. Hope this helps.

hmmm now that u mention it it does sound pretty fun. i do jap continuers too and staying in japan for a yr maib a choice other than going to uni straigh awai. but apparently costs in japan (ie accommodation, food, etc) is reali expensive...wat r u gonna do about that??
