    Gap year x 0.5?

is it possible to take half a gap year and then enter the course in the second semester? Does anyone have any examples of courses/unis that allow you to do this?

Yeah you can. I remember hearing someone do BComm @ UNSW from 2nd Sem.

I spoke to someone at UTS (B Business) who decided he had already gotten into bad habits within the first few weeks of the first semester, it was before the census date so he just unenroled out of his subjects and picked them again during the second semester. I'd say you'd be able to do this at most universities but it's something they wouldn't be advertising.

Hi, At UWS, you can defer your offer for six months for certain courses, or you can apply for mid-year entry into certain courses. For more information, contact the Course Information team on 1300 897 669 or on study@uws.edu.au. Best regards, UWS Course Info.
