hey guys, does any one know why Ext 1 maths has a higher scaling than ext 2 english?????

this sucks! i did ext 2 eng coz i thought it was gonna scale me up heaps.

I was just wondering whether standard english would scale me down if i get a mark around the band 5's. My other subjects for year 12 are Mathematics 4u , physics, chemistry and economics. We really had no choice when it came to choosing if we were to do standard or advanced english in year 12 the teachers chose all of that

Just how do they do it?
You look through pages on here from the past HSCs and you see these people getting in the 90-100 mark.

You sit and wonder how? You give it your all and you get so less, yet you read some of the people's comments on here saying that they only study 2 hours a day and such, yet they're getting some great results.

It's like there's not a point in trying no more, seems like hardwork has nothing against intelligence.

i need help with belonging, obviously im not the only one, but i pretty much just need to know if i should really study about Peter.S history (poland, migration etc) and all or just try and concentrate on his poems more???

its just that my teacher keeps talkin about Poland and i dnt get why she keeps stressing it.
