Being single and drinking...
being sinlgle and drunk. not a good combination. watching from across the table, your best friend and her man flirting and kissing. and for us 'single ladies' that can take a toll on our emotions. why are we still single? and to what extent must we remain silent about our desires? drinking is socially acepted in today's society, but how can drinking be an accepted behaviour in times of emotional needs? we can lose control of ourselves and we tend to do stupid things and for some of us we think we know it all and know what we're doing... this is where the role of a man comes in handy.
that my friends is what a sinlge drunk woman needs. she needs to be controlled...
but how can we sit here in desperation? can all we do is be drunken and single? and is that why so many guys are turned off when the first sight of a girl is 'drunk'? i'm not reffering to the one-nighters of the male population, but rather more those who have a personality and seek a woman for her charm and personality rather than what's between her legs. there are men out there like this. of course they will have sex on their minds but they don't act upon it. rather more a mutual respect for women. so where are these men when we're tipsy? and why do we drink out of desperation for these men?
in today's society, we single drinking women take the depressent over getting up off our arses and putting our personalities out there and taking the plundge to finding a compatable mate. why do we hold back?

- the supporter.
- the protector.
- and that istant urge to care for us.

i like, in return i shall write a blog about this blog.
very well written, and yes i'd a gree lightly that both you an i are turning into a "carrie Bradshaw" She is the epitomy of what ladies want to be, despite her being single until her recent almost marriage in sex and the city. i love this quote "Carrie : And then I realized something, twenty-something girls are just fabulous, until you see one with the man who broke your heart."
She carries on and holds herself.
we need not to hold back no more.Posted 3 Nov 2009 at 11:47 AM by Ksubi
