  1. 100's not too small, my year has maybe 160-170. We had lots of people drop out once they turned 17 lol. School is over a 1000 though, the yr 11 cohort is intensively huge cause we got tonnes of transfers.
  2. There's only 100 people in my year, it's so annoying because half the classes don't run. I considered doing eco correspondence (I've done French correspondence since year 10 and it's sort of manageable) but the people who did eco the year before all dropped it because correspondence was really difficult, one of the girls practically cried every time she got her work.
  3. I think His Ext could have been a good subject, but just too many units and the way it ran at my school. (It was two afternnons a week ick till late, they revamped it so it was only one lol). Eco I had a traumatizing Yr 11 experience (omg we didn't actually learn the prelim course, but it was kinda hilarious some of the things went on), but yeah I felt so bad when I had to get the forms signed cause the teacher taking over in Year 12 was a really gung ho young teacher who is super passionate and nice (he even made junior geo fun lol)...And it was like "It's not you Sir, it's Economics" lol And head teacher of Social Science is my mentor so he was cut.

My school is biggish despite being rural, but eco only just ran really, half the class dropped after yr 11 heh I almost ended up doing French instead of Eco, that could have been interesting :P
  4. Good luck with trials, and everything else considering you probably have a million assessment tasks at the minute.

I was desperate to do History Ext. and Economics! Having a small school sucks so much, neither of them ran (actually, history ext. hasn't run in ages). You must be so smart if they were practically crying when you wanted to drop! I don't think my teacher will be too pleased, but hopefully she wont cry
  5. Yes I am 2012 HSC.
Lol at my replies being evidence to your maths teachers :P You have no idea how hard it was to drop His Ext at my school (hate history my gosh, like you encouraged to do it cause I was good at it). Economics they were nicea bout but practically crying (I love the social science faculty at my school <3 Wish I dropped modern instead).
  6. I know, I'll have to fight them for it. If they won't let me I'll just show them the ten pages of replies, almost all of which have encouraged me to drop it, and they might be convinced
    Are you 2012 HSC?
  7. No problem, I hope it all goes well for you for HSC
Though good luck though, I suspect your math teachers will put up a fight for you dropping heh.(Dropping any subject is ahrd if you're a good student in it, they won't want to let you leave!)
  8. Thanks for your encouragement, I'm dropping out of maths on Tuesday morning Thanks!
