I've got a desktop that im going to take with me, im just wondering if its going to be worth getting an eeepc for notes and wifi at uni? Or is it more an aesthetic that can very easily be achieved by a notebook+pen?

edit: It might be wise to add that i've been accepted into Medical & Radiation Physics, would if be of use to this subject. I don't want to email them just yet because it is just the middle of November but applications closed over a month ago so I'm just hoping they haven't set any interviews up and I haven't missed out. My 2008 UAI was 90.35 and 1st semester I got all distinctions (in an unrelated course) so I was anticipating that my application would be strong enough to gain an interview.
