Bronte is THE BEST suburb of sydney. City is 7 minutes away and the buses and trains go like clockwork, no traffic, no crime, quiet. What more could you possibly want?

- Maybe a bit biased, I do live there...

If you're planning to invest in property, buy a place close to the city. Houses are like gold, they're not shiny, however they rapidly appreciate over time pending on their location! Goodluck!

Living in the city ftw. Really tempted to get a place in World Tower or somewhere closer to Barangaroo once it's finished. Hmm. It's nice having supermarkets/shops conveniently located within walking distance, or better yet, in the same complex.

Chatswood I think goes pretty far as one of the best, almost everything is convenient here(even the ride to city is quite modest) and there is almost every facility around,North shore in general is probably one of the better areas to live in.

Alot of people are suddenly selling their houses where I live. Is that a good thing?

On topic, Putney seems like a nice (and expensive) place to live.
