would you happen to konw if it's possible to transfer from a health science couse at bundoora to dentistry. Would i have to retake year 1 if i do so?

I'm right in the middle of my VCE right now and have been thinking about Dentristry at Latrobe for some time. I was lucky to be browsing through a thread and saw your signature. Hooray! Someone's actually doing a course I want to know more about!
So I want to ask about the selection process, and your opinion on whether dentistry at Latrobe is worth pursuing at all. I know it must be hard work and am prepared for that-- but do you think a career as a dentist is really worth it?
