    Arc Length

Do you happen to have worked solutions to these papers as well?

Technically, there was no domain specified so the answer should be a general solution.

    Simple Harmonic Motion

How can acceleration here is negative? Do we have to justify that it must be negative and never positive? If so, how and why?

    Simple Harmonic Motion

Having some problems with the following: The amplitude of a particle moving with SHM is 5 metres and the acceleration when 2 metres from the mean position is 4 m/s/s. Find the speed of the particle at the mean position and when it is 4 metres from the mean position.

    Forces acting on a satellite.

What are the forces acting on a satellite orbiting Earth? Would it be sufficient just to state the following for an answer in the HSC? http://www.hsc.csu.edu.au/physics/core/space/9_2_2/922net.html#net14 Thanks in advance.

    Yet Another Projectile Motion Question

I didn't think to use the answers, but I'll remember to look into them beforehand. I have the 1st edition of the book, whereas the solutions are provided for the 2nd edition. I looked at the first page of solutions of Chapter 1 and they were not related at all, so I just forgot about them...

To find a horizontal point of inflexion, you solve for f''(x) = 0 and the root must also be a solution to f'(x) = 0.

    Yet Another Projectile Motion Question

I can calculate from the cliff to the top of the parabola and then from the top of the parabola to the point in line with the cliff. What I can't calculate is the range from the point in line with the cliff to the ground 50m below.
