If transfer to Arts fails - study Arts courses anyway, and apply again next sem?

Yeah, odd I guess, but I'll use it to my advantage. Thanks for clarifying.

If transfer to Arts fails - study Arts courses anyway, and apply again next sem?

I submitted a transfer application into Sci/Arts early November. I expect a reply after 19 December. If I get rejected and must stay in Sci/Comm for another semester, can I still study a couple of Arts courses next semester, and during next semester submit another application for transfer the...

Latest we can drop a course without getting a refund?

Far out. Just checked my zMail. 24 July. Does this mean I won't get the 20% discount which is reserved for those who make timely, up-front payments? Or worse, will UNSW do something to the effect of kicking me out of my current courses?

Latest we can drop a course without getting a refund?

What? 3 days ago? Where was this said officially?

Latest we can drop a course without getting a refund?

Actually, what does 'academic penalty' involve? They surely can't punish us academically for simply dropping a course... Also: I'm just reading my fee statement; it says the census date is 31 August. Is this the date by when we must pay (without getting...terminated)? I swear I remember seeing...

Latest we can drop a course without getting a refund?

According to UNSW's key dates, the last day to discontinue a course without 'academic' penalty is September 4. When, however, is the latest I can drop a course without financial penalty? That is, without getting a refund of the course fee. (Bearing in mind that course payments are due this...

Urgent - Can this course be done as a "free option"???

Perhaps if I go ahead and change to this course, the online system might warn me if it won't count for my degree?

Urgent - Can this course be done as a "free option"???

Me neither. I'd just hope that somebody can tell me for certain.

Urgent - Can this course be done as a "free option"???

Can ARTS1362 Thinking About Reasoning be done as a "free option" (aka "elective") in Commerce/Science? I emailed the Business school at least a week ago, but haven't got a reply. I also managed to ring them out-of-hours, several times...lolmybad. But I do urgently need an answer as today is the...

    Philosophy courses in Science/Commerce?

I refer to this Science/Commerce page and also to Table A. The quote is from the Science/Commerce page. It talks about what students must do in the Science part of the degree. Please correct me if I'm wrong here: - I can take any course in Table A, so long as it counts toward my Science major...

Computer Science, Economics, Marketing through Science/Arts?

Thanks for the offer, but don't worry, I emailed them after I made my most recent post.

Computer Science, Economics, Marketing through Science/Arts?

Thanks Lolsmith. Looks as though Economics is available as a major in Arts, and Computing as a minor in Science, which is fine by me. What concerns me, however, is that they are not listed as 'specialisations' on the actual Science/Arts combined degree page...

Computer Science, Economics, Marketing through Science/Arts?

As part of an Science/Arts double degree: Could I major/minor in Computer Science within Science? Could I major/minor in Economics and/or Marketing within Arts? EDIT: If not, could I take them as free electives?

Major in Physics/Psychology -- must we take their first year courses?

You go to USYD. Me, UNSW. I don't think so. That Physics plan I quoted, for example, is named "PHYSB13529". It's page says that it's specifically under the "3529 - Commerce/Science" program. Sorry that I'm being so stubborn :P. I'll email UNSW.

Major in Physics/Psychology -- must we take their first year courses?

What did you read? If you read my quoted passage from the Physics page, it looks as though "successful completion of the following courses is required" in "Year 1".
