I refer to this Science/Commerce page and also to Table A. The quote is from the Science/Commerce page. It talks about what students must do in the Science part of the degree. Please correct me if I'm wrong here: - I can take any course in Table A, so long as it counts toward my Science major...

As part of an Science/Arts double degree: Could I major/minor in Computer Science within Science? Could I major/minor in Economics and/or Marketing within Arts? EDIT: If not, could I take them as free electives?

You go to USYD. Me, UNSW. I don't think so. That Physics plan I quoted, for example, is named "PHYSB13529". It's page says that it's specifically under the "3529 - Commerce/Science" program. Sorry that I'm being so stubborn :P. I'll email UNSW.

What did you read? If you read my quoted passage from the Physics page, it looks as though "successful completion of the following courses is required" in "Year 1".
