i only know about edutest. just make sure you time yourself and able to solve quickly. dont get caught on long ones and skip them if you feel like its taking too long. in terms of process, build a good portfolio although it might be hard in your current situation, so yeh include usa ones.

Seeking advice to prepare for Edutest and NSB 2024 Year 9 transfer tests

oh, dont lose your hope. I know someone who came back from overseas in year 10 and went into selective high school in year 11. your school reports from usa and extra curricular might be relevant, so put them in. I was going to suggest Vic selective school sample papers, but just googled them and...

Edutest results & transferring high schools

year 10 entries spots are quite limited compared to year 9 and 11, but just give it a go bro. try out for 3 schools out of 4 that you mentioned. don't think anyone can tell you what school you should apply for tho.

    Year 8-11 Selective Result Discussion

always impressed at how well Sethio writes. agree that edutest practice papers are useless. total waste of time and you might get a wrong impression that it is really easy. for hast, i heard that you need to prepare for abstract reasoning.

SELECTIVE SCHOOLS YR11 ENTRY SYDNEY GRAMMAR

no i was saying that because parents still needs to be pay more than $45,000 every year, and just because they have an entrance test and does well in hsc, doesn't mean its a selective school, so i thought.

SELECTIVE SCHOOLS YR11 ENTRY SYDNEY GRAMMAR

are you a parent or a student? Sydney grammar is not a selective school, it's a private school but you can apply for a scholarship. are you saying you are studying 3 hrs a day? or have 3 hours to spare to prep for the test? if you are studying 3 hours on top of homework and...

Tips for James Ruse Application? for current Year 9 going into Year 10

are you referring that 2 people transferred into year 8 ruse this year? if it is, that's correct info (although they didn't get to come at orientation day). 29 of us transferred into year 9 this year (~13 or 14 boys from my memory). I glanced through your previous posts and saw you spoke to both...

How can I maximise my chances to transfer into Hornsby Girls?

lol. is she dropping you off at school? maybe too much hassle for her to pick you and your sister up when in different school. given that applying doesn't mean that you will get in, apply to all the schools you want and then decide if you get an offer. if you are interested in Edutest info...

How can I maximise my chances to transfer into Hornsby Girls?

tbh I was generalising rather than being hornsby specific but if I was in your situation, I wouldn't limit myself to just hornsby. Apply for others like sydney and north sydney girls (although they use edutest) if you are keen on girls school only, so build your portfolio.
