Hi.
I have a question about just exams in general.
Do we have to pass the final exam to pass the unit?
Or can we fail by a bit if the rest of our assessments can keep us above 50% overall?
...
Quick question: How much does an Access Card cost for a whole year?
I'm home :)
Here's mine. Some aren't final yet, but most are going ahead.
Semester 1:
- CHEM1101
- MATH1011
- MATH1015
- PHYS1001
- PHYS1500
Semester 2:
Bachelor of Science, reporting in. :)
I'm pretty stoked to be going to Sydney Uni, but it's been an absolute headache trying to get REASONABLY priced accommodation.
Mum's keen to shove me into this...
B Science at Sydney Uni.
Totally didn't expect it at all. Didn't even know I still had it on my UAC preferences; thought I'd replaced it with Biomed@UTS, but apparently not.
Cut-off was 82.10 this...
I know the guy who topped general maths. Good ol' nicky :D
Makes me wish i did general maths now, i could've given him a run for his money in it.
roryclifford knows what he's on about.
And frankly, HSC is not the be-all-and-end-all of everything.
These days you can do transfers into just about anything, so the road to your dreams isn't cut...
You gotta be kidding.
Same as me :D
And now i'm feeling incredibly inadequate now, compared to all you 95+'ers.
Thanks a lot :(
80.35 here.
Needed an 88 for medical science.
The amount of bombing out was probably caused by a lack of motivation and general apathy for school. I'd been there for 13 years, i just wanted to get...
Oh no, 89s everywhere. How will you survive?
Seriously, grow up.
An 89 is 1 different to a 90, and a shiny little award for getting straight 90-somethings is cool and all, but really it's a...
Well, crap!
20 shots coming my way eventually.
This can only go well :)
You've got to be kidding?
You were THAAAAAT close to a 95, it shouldn't matter. Unless, of course, that 0.2 was the difference between you getting into a course or not.
When i told my parents my...
Well, i missed out on medical science (88.00) with my 80.35, but i'm going to UTS, and i'm going to finish my degree, and when i do, i'll be the first person in my family to actually finish a degree....
80.35.
Much lower than what I was expecting :(
Well, I'm done.
Hoping the cutoff isn't a massive jump from last year, although this years was much easier than last years, in my opinion.
mid to high 70's please.
Medical physics was probably the easiest part of the exam for me, which was really surprising.
Absolutely killed the 6 marker question, so if i don't get a 5 minimum for that, i will not be happy....
Easiest exam in the world.
Unfortunately if i thought it was easy then everyone else would've thought it was easy, so i reckon cut-offs will be heaps higher than last year.
80-something raw for...
I got about 0.3something for the lemon juice one, and i'm not sure what i did for the nickel-copper cell, but i know that i got a mass reading that had barely changed.
I'm coming to realise my...
If last years cutoff was ~72, and that was hard, then this might almost break 60s for cutoffs, because it WAS hard, and i don't care what the rest of you 'it-was-easy'-ers say. Most of my class found...
75 would probably be a band 6, since low to mid 70s is generally the cutoff for a band 6 most years, and this years one seemed harder than others.
I'm getting worried now, i don't even remember a transuranic element question with uranium or neptunium in it.
Low to mid 70s aligns to 90.
I reckon the exam was fairly hard, compared to last year, and probably even years before that, so cutoffs should be lower for each band.
I reckon you might just get it.
