    HSC: Difference between Statement of Attainment and Certificate III?

    What's the difference between the SoA and the CertIII, when it comes to HSC courses? Are they the same thing? The SoA is available via OTEN (distance-ed) and the CertIII isn't. I hope the SoA is "legit" with the BOS and all? Contributes to UAI, etc (board-developed courses, of course).

    Speed Reading/Understanding

    I just thought this would be very helpful. You need to learn to speed-read and speed-understand. And if you want, a typing test (which wouldn't be very helpful unless you could use a laptop or something during the exams).     What smells like petrol but isn't petrol?

    Turpentine, possibly. Or permanent markers. Any other ideas? Fuel is too flammable (even when dry). It has to be a liquid, not gas etc.

    Credit Transfers: Graphic Design to Visual Arts

    If I make the cut, I'll be doing a Diploma or CertIV in Grapic Design through TAFE next year. I don't feel like uni - not for a while, anyway. Seeing as my qualification is going to to be specific (Graphic Design instead of Visual Arts), would I still be able to get some sort of credit transfer...
