    I was agreeing with you.

Where do you sit on the Political Compass?

Optimus it's a matter of whiners not studying hard enough then looking for excuses and someone to blame. With public schools being the best in the state those are almost always selective schools (Melbourne high and macrob in Melbourne) so that skews the data.

Left wing media and its affect on the upcoming election.

I agree. Also, have you ever realized how right wing the communist manifesto is? Moar like heil Marx manifesto.

Jessi Slaughter and the 4chan trolls - the case for censoring the internet

You know i heard some crimes are committed during the day, so why don't we make it illegal to leave one's house. I should run for PM.

Jessi Slaughter and the 4chan trolls - the case for censoring the internet

The parents of those Indian students bashed earlier this year (late last year?) should have taught them not to go out alone at night, therefore we shouldn't punish those who bashed them, right?

Where do you sit on the Political Compass?

Whether or not the education system is equal some public school students do very well and hence everyone has the opportunity to. On the topic of education i went to a public school for two years and the private for the other 5 years of my senior education (public for primary but that hardly...

Left wing media and its affect on the upcoming election.

Excluding Andrew Bolt's column the Herald Sun is practically Marx and Engels' love child.

Where do you sit on the Political Compass?

Hmmm, i concede that i will never change your opinion on this but surely our education system gives everyone equal oportunity. Also, for the record, i do not want to abolish welfare i want it reduced through stricter means testing and all taxes lowered. Obviously the mentally ill deserve welfare.

    2010 Federal Election

It astounds me every election when both parties mouth off about cracking down on asylum seekers. Are we really that racist that none of our major political parties are willing to protect the rights of asylum seekers? I am politically very conservative but even i despise both parties' policies on...

Left wing media and its affect on the upcoming election.

I do not claim that the media parallells that of North Korea. Yes, there has been media criticism of the government but John Howard faced far more criticism than Kevin Rudd did, despite being ALOT more successfull. When you say that the Australian had a front page story criticising the education...

Left wing media and its affect on the upcoming election.

No, but i have to question the lack of media scrutiny over ridiculous fiscal policy, a backstabbing, cheating whore becoming PM and billions wasted on an absurdly regulated school building project (which, by the way, is being investigated by the attorney general - sweet choice for PM ALP.) I...

Left wing media and its affect on the upcoming election.

Okay. I believe the media has a left wing bias and was curious about other people's opinions on how much such a bias will affect the upcoming election. Ignore the ACA comment, i have been proven very clearly wrong there.

Left wing media and its affect on the upcoming election.

To the above i already said i am ignorant of other states' papers, although perhaps the problem is more prevalent in Victoria. I never though ACA to be politically biased in any direction (the reference in the first post was to prove that people watch crap.) They swing from far left to far right...

Left wing media and its affect on the upcoming election.

Okay ACA may have been a bad example of political bias my point with ACA was that people are stupid and can confuse opinion with news. For those denying the bias I challenge you to name a single conservative columnist at the age or one other than Andrew Bolt in the herald sun (victoria's two...

    Aganist abortion

By that token everything is flawed. Education is flawed because somewhere in the world a child is being taught to murder, the entire tax and welfare system is flawed because there is one person who bludges off the dole and democracy is flawed because someone donkey voted. Exceptions exist in...

Jessi Slaughter and the 4chan trolls - the case for censoring the internet

Of course the internet needs some form of censorship and these idiots should be prosecuted. If a magazine published such a slanderous and offensive article it would be penalised and the internet should be treated equally.

    Aganist abortion

Following the Bible to a tee is a form of fundamentalism and i think that as society has evolved Christianity has evolved despite the Bible obviously remaining stagnant. I base my beliefs about Christianity on what i was taught, not on scripture. For the record, i no longer consider myself...

    Aganist abortion

Yes, i honestly believe that non fundamental religion is a good thing. You despise religion based on what you hear in the news and the news only reports intolerance while in real life the majority of religous people are tolerant.

    Aganist abortion

The truth about religion though, regardless of its truth, is that (the majority of) religions preach tolerance, kindness and empathy and a world in which every single person displayed these three qualities would be a perfect world.
