For people who have achieved an ATAR of 90 and over, what did you do in order to achieve it? Did you have tutoring or did you study endlessly?

I suck at writing essays and It seems like I can't improve no matter how hard I try. I'd like to improve but Idk what resources I have available other than drafting. Is tutoring worth it?

I have been lazy for half the year by not starting early, not even reading the book studied, not sending drafts, etc etc If standard and advanced are similar in effort but different in scaling I might as well stay!
