number of words in 10 minutes

Does it even matter how many words you get in a specific timeframe? It's about the quality of what you're writing, and how effective your timekeeping is. On that, I never really paid much attention to how many words I wrote.

    Supplementary Text for Extension English

Well, instead of using Apocalypse Now, why not use Heart of Darkness? Appropriated text, yes, but voices more through the novel than the film.

    Three Memorable Movie Scenes

Post three movie scenes that have made big impressions on you. Don't have to be in any order. Explain why...if you really want to! In no particular order: Crash (2005) Matt Dillon and Thandie Newton - beautiful scene. Fellowship of the Ring Boromir's death. American...

    Parkway Drive

They're in Europe at the moment, and I rue the way they avoided Glasgow totally! They held shows in Dundee and Aberdeen, and missed the best city for gigs and concerts: asses! At least I got to see In Flames again here...

    Superman Returns

I don't think I shall see it, as I'm already and inevitably gauging it against the superior superhero movie ever, Batman Begins. Pretty ridiculous, I know, but I'll wait 'til home release. Besides, who would prefer a guy who wears his undies on the outside?

    Parkway Drive

PWD are great if you enjoy the genre - I love metal and most of its hybrids, such as hardcore or metalcore, whichever PWD can be assigned. True, screaming is incorporated into every song, but it doesn't mean it overrides the enjoyment of the breakdowns or their setlist.

    Yeats.. anyone?

A protest or to protest doesn't have any parameters, in that you can protest about an issue with your teacher, or hold a 1000-person strong protest in front of parliament. You protest if you have a grievance or an issue with something, and the outcome can vary - usually it's hoped your point...

    christina vs britney

Aww, c'mon: why not Lindsay? At any rate, both Christina and Britney aren't really Christina and Britney - they're nobodies. At least Lindsay Lohan taps into various markets successfully, stringently avoiding the marriage market :P.
