    Science Tutoring Physics & Chemistry

    Hey guys!
So I'm in year 10 right now and we are going through the proceudres of picking our subjects. I'm pretty set on Chem and Phys but now I'm looking at tutoring centres to attend.

Does anyone know of good centres for those 2 sciences.
I'm thinking of Sigma Science Education and Dux college. If anyone goes to either centres and has any feedback I'd love to hear it.

Also, does anyone know where the state rankers and .95ers attended?
    Thank You!!!!

Sigma science is pretty good, and a testimony is that he always has 20+ baulko kids which go and improve their ranks heaps. Also lots of practice and hard questions.

    Hey!

My name is Chris, I am the tutor at Sigma Science Education. My centre is really aimed at helping high achieving students reach their potential, I focus a lot on the harder end of the spectrum when it comes to Physics, so generally, we breeze through the theory stuff (of which there is a whole lot less of for your year with the new syllabus!) and really focus on the application of knowledge and understanding. Your syllabus is completely different to the one currently in place, but I intend, again, to focus on problem solving, developing an understanding of key concepts and then applying that understanding in different ways. I am working with a number of other qualified teachers to develop resources which really hone in on this. I also offer a free trial lesson, so no harm in checking me out, if you like it, stay, if you don't, no hard feelings

I have heard some good things about Dux College in the past few years, i'd imagine they would have trial lessons also -- it is in your best interest to try a few places before you decide on one!

If you have any further questions, PM me or hit up my email! chris@sigmascience.com.au

But many of them would have been mere recent students of people like Chris.
