forsters would be boring for schoolies. i dont know about you guys but one of main reasons im going schoolies is for da parties, and i doubt youll find much action at forster.
Forsters good, if all you want to do is lay on the beach, get pissed at your accomodation (there is no night life, apart from the RSL, and a couple of pubs) and walk up and down either the main street or around the kmart complex.
If you want a true schoolies, go elsewhere.

i have been to forster every year at christmas and there is no fucking night life then and it is peak season......there is no way that it would be good during november....drive for a few extra hours and go to byron, seriously if u want a memorably schoolies DONT go to forster. it's a great holiday place for mum n dad n the kiddies, not 9 drunken teenagers trying to have fun

Im doing 1 week at surfer's and the week after in forster with about 10 friends
I think just about all of you are right about Forster, it just depends on how you want to spend Schoolies I guess.
I go to Forster about 4 times a year cause I have relo's there and I agree, it's not the most exciting town on the planet but it can be when you're with you're mates. The night life isn't the best since there are no clubs but again, as long as you're with you're mates and meeting new people, it can be sweet. And if you're the type of person that likes to have a good time but doesn't want to party with tens of thousands of drunken schoolies people, Forster is the place to be
And that's why I organised us all to go Chappo
Also, I found out today that there's a dude in my TAFE class that's going with some mates.

hey we have 8 of us going to schoolies at smiths lake...20 min drive from forster...good to hear that there will be other teens......we should all organise a big party for the schoolies people! cept half of us will be under 18...but hopefully with fake id's

I went to Forster for "Schoolies" becuase most of my friends (and me) were underage and my friends parents owned a unit over there.
We had fun over there, but don't expect to see any other people there on schoolies.

i remember last year when we went to foster. we actually got picked up by locals, yes we were pissed, we asked them to drive us to the caravan park where my mate was staying, but they ended up trying to do burnouts in there mums commodore...hell funnny

Whats my scene?
Its fair to say that many people would regard Forster as a 'boring' or 'uneventful' location for schoolies. However, I believe different destinations suit different types of people. Take me for example, I like to have fun and get pissed with my mates on the beach, sit around a fire, listen to rock music - ( a rarity in gold coast clubs) and I don't need party drugs to have a good time. I'm not one of those desperate guys who goes crawling to the gold coast to try and take advantage of drunk chicks at cheap nightclubs. I'm not saying that everyone that goes to the Gold Coast is like that, but a lot of the guys that go are - i respect the people who go because they enjoy partying - just not the sleazy guys. I guess thats just not my scene. I like to make my own parties and thats what my mates and I are going to do. So anyone who is going to Forster or anywhere near there - send me an email (james_chappo@hotmail.com) and we could arrange to have a party or something. All I want to do is have a peaceful, funfilled week with my mates to celebrate the end of school. Now who's with me (lol that sounds like a hollywood cliche').

We're from Muirfield High. A few of us are underage (including myself) and we're all guys - planning on aquainting ourselves when we're in town. Should be awesome.

hehehehe. ton of fun!!! i used to live in port macquarie, and we went to ton of fun a couple of times. not bad, but it was pretty dodgy back then (in like 97-98) so maybe its improved ^^
