anyone who did V for vendetta got notes they like to share? thanks it would really help
Any John Pilger doco is useful. I mean, sure he is extreme left etc, but some of this stuff is still relevant today.
Hi I've looked through a lot of the suggestions here, but I don't think I have enough time to analyse any of those.. I have a newsletter assignment due for this module and my teacher keeps suggesting 'letters to the editor'. My prescribed text is Julius Caesar, frankly I don't have enough patience for this module, seriously does anyone have anything that could possibly help me? I'll look more into 'letters to the editor' but if I can't find a good enough one I have no idea what I'm going to do... I'm going to explode soon, honestly...
I am studying Birthday Letters as my prescribed text for Conflicting Perspectives. I don't have any idea what this elective is about and I need a related text that suits Birthday Letters. Recommendations? Thanks.
I also did Christos Tsolkias’ novel The Slap which is written in the perspective of multiple characters and focuses on their contrasting reactions to one event, and consequently their different ideals etc. etc. Just a great conflicting perspectives related overall. The book isn't too long either - you can just read a couple of perspectives and focus on them.
can we use these suggested related texts for things besides julius caesar? it's just about conflicting perspectives and there doesn't have to be a link between the prescribed text and additional ones besides conflicting perspectives right?

This novel sounds perfect for me (The Slap), how many pages is it? My thesis is based around conflicting perspectives shaped by characters, does this novel do that well? @ aphorae

Does anyone have any good poems as related texts for JC?
Do you only need one related text for this module or could they ask for two? I know they haven't asked for two yet but I don't want to get into the exam and they ask for two when I only have one.
I am thinking of doing a musical as one of my related texts, but I'm not sure whether to do something so similar to a play (I am doing Julius Caesar for my prescribed text). Can anyone help? Also, should I have fiction as one related text, and non-fiction as another, or do you think it would be alright to have two fictions?
