Either are fine. I used a text that had conflicting perspectives within it, whereas others in my grade had two newspaper articles that gave contrasting views of an event/personality/situation.
I am little confused with this module.
Are we supposed to find related texts that have conflicting perspectives WITHIN them, or find 2 related texts that oppose each other.
Because I have been looking for related texts that have conflicting perspectives within them.

Red Dwarf episodes
documentaries on hitler/ Nazis

Should our related texts be conflicting each other based on ONE event?
Or can they be two related texts presenting conflicting perspectives within them but they are not based on the same event?
Which option is preferable?
Thanks.

I was thinking of using 'Reservoir dogs" directed by quentin tarantino ?
a girl in my my class also suggested pulp fiction and my teacher said it was fine to use it. anyone else agree?
I have no reason why Pulp Fiction would not be a decent text.
To be honest, I'm not sure. For instance, we recently had an assessment task where we were asked to discuss Julius Caesar and one related, but a lot of people used two articles which had conflicting perspectives of the same event. So I'm not really sure. Ask your teacher(s).
Each text is counted as a separate text. It is like for our elective Ted Hughes we have several different poems relating to the same topic but they each count as separate texts in the essay. Therefore you're probably better off having ORT's which aren't related to each other.
Okay, okay.
Considering that the two related texts don't have to be related to each other (or so I gather) I'm planning to use United 93 and I'm still looking for a short story.

The reason so few people are successful is no one has
yet found a way for someone to sit down and slide uphill.
hey everyone, for one of my related texts ive chosen to use the film ned kelly with heath ledger. Does anyone know another related text i could use with this? Preferably one regarding Ned Kelly so that i could easily link them.
I've been looking around but i haven't been able to find one that works.. and i have an assessment task in a couple of days.. Can anyone help?
Can anyone tell me one scene in the movie "Pulp Fiction" that conflicting perspectives occur?
