    lmao im the same ive always loved medicine

    but then again i also want to be able to have a family and suppport them

    so after finishing uni its a $55,000 salary. how bout the 4 years or specialisation do youy get paid for that or is it more study?

    nah nah im very passionate about medicine. ive wanted to do it ever since i was a little kid. i will do anything that i have to do to get in to medicine and also to gratuadate and become a doctor but obviously i should be aware of what im getting into before i do it. because we all have to live and be able to support ourselves and families some how

    This should be the most accurate depiction of how to become a GP. You are looking at 5-6 years after you graduate according to that.

    WHERE'S MINE HUH?!! lol i'm kidding, but @ carrotsticks - i always thought you earned money while doing the speciality too :/ This changes things a bit for me....

    Oh and don't say 'I've wanted to do med since I was little', because your ideas of being a doctor at 5 tend to be romanticised.
