99.70 Raw Internal marks + ranks

In case anyone thinks you need to ace ALL your exams to have any hope of getting 99+, I hope my raw internal marks will give you some hope that one bad exam doesn't mean that you can't do it. My HSC marks are listed in my signature in the format HSC mark (internal mark/external mark).

#1: 49.5/66. Worth 10%
#2: 75%. Don't know what it was out of. Worth 20%
#3: 80/92. Worth 30%
Trial: 75.5/84. Worth 40% (obv.) Ranked 40ish.
Overall, I ended up ranked somewhere in the high 40s (out of 165).
Aligned Internal mark was 95/100.

#1: 47.5/70. Worth 20% (I think)
#2: 57/83 (or somewhere around there). Worth 35%.
Trial: 93.5/120.
Overall, I ended up ranked somewhere in the low 40s (out of 117ish).
92/100.

English (Advanced)
These marks are all 100% accurate.
#1: 14/20
#2: 16/20
#3: 13/15
#4: 16/20
#5: 13/15. #1-5 were all worth 15% each.
Trial: 69%. It's out of 105, but each paper is weighted differently. I remember I was ranked 166th/209 (based on Trial ONLY).
Overall, I ended up ranked 78th/209.
92/100.

Eco
These marks are all 100% accurate.
#1: 10.5/15. This was weighted 15%. It had two 20 mark parts, but they were weighted differently.
#2: 58/60. This was weighted 25%.
#3: 55/60. This was also weighted 25%.
Trial: 89/100. Ranked 17th/55 (based on Trial ONLY)
Overall, I ended up ranked 10th/55.
92/100.

Phys
#1: 40/50. Worth 10%. Theory.
#2: 21/25. Worth 10%. Prac.
#3: 20/25. Worth 10%. Prac.
#4: 21/30. Worth 15% (?). Prac.
Trial: 82/100.
Overall, I ended up ranked 29th/108.

It might have been 4. I can't remember correctly. But I DO know that it was at least 3. I'm not sure if there was a prac for Ideas to Implementation.

School rank definitely helped me. However, all my external marks were higher than my internal marks, so...

At a school ranked 500+, it definitely wouldn't align so well.

The aligning would definitely be worse. Your ranks would need to be higher to get the same internal marks as me.

My school had a ~55%ish B6 rate. A school in the 20s would be around 35%ish.

No. However, you can approximate your HSC marks if you have data on the number of Band 6s your school had in each subject in the previous year.

O.P is being ridiculous, regardless of school rank or not, O.P still HAD to get his own mad marks in the actual HSC - you ALWAYS get the mark that you achieved in the actual HSC.

I specified that I did not have to do well in ALL my exams. I didn't say anything about HSC marks in particular.
