I've read that the internal transferring system at UNSW for law has changed, no longer taking into consideration ATAR. Does this also count if you're transferring from a different Uni in which you are studying Law?

nah its 50% atar
^ yeah, they don't count your ATAR only if your internal transferring and have a minimum of 100 guaranteed spots. That said, the douchebags upped the WAM from 75 to 80.

For external transfers, as long as you complete 0.75 of a year they will take whatever is higher ATAR or uni marks.
Its a combination of the 2 if your external transferring, 50% ATAR and 50% WAM, similar deal at usyd.

So just to clarify: At UNSW, in order to transfer into a Law degree internally, they only take into account your WAM (gathering from this thread around 80%) and they do not take your ATAR into account? But when transferring externally from another uni, they take your atar into consideration as well? Would the same setup apply for USyd? Cheers

ATAR AIM: 94+
^That is correct.
I am not too sure about USYD but you could try asking their student services.
