English story ideas ??

Hey Guys and Girls,

I have to write an english story for extension and another for advanced during the holidays. The extension story must be able to be hand written in a 1hour exam and must cover the concept of a 'Journey' both physically and psychologically, however the challenge is constructing a story that does this whilst expressing it in the small amount of words available.
Advanced is a story based around the AOS of 'The Institution'. The story must establish institutional control and also contain aspects of the individuals struggle to oppose it, essentially positioning both as diametrically opposed forces. We are currently studying 'One flew over the cuckoos nest'.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, I have though of some already but i would like some more to help spark some different aspects of the story.

that's a weird AoS, never heard of it.
I would give you ideas but creative writing can get hard for me too.
