Of course it's worth it. If you like Commerce and Engineering both, why would you restrict yourself to doing one when you have the option to do both?
is it really worth doing dual degrees such as
Commerce/engineering
engineering/architecture
or would it be better of doing just one and just hope that you'll enjoy it . because atm i'm lurking around these courses

Exactly. Say you want a change of pace - say you like Commerce at uni but hate the jobs it gives you in the real world. With a double degree, you can immediately say "Oh okay, so I'll use this second degree to get me a job".
