Do you guys break the 'noodle block' in half or whatever when you cook it, or do you just pour the water onto the block as it is?

Boil water and place 1-2 blocks into said water.
I then add a shitload of veggies and meat and make an awesome-broth.

Who doesn't break it? The instructions say to break it in quarters so that's what I do lol

I don't break it.
I like having long strands so I don't break it
This is how I make instant noodles such as mi goreng
Put the whole block into a bowl
Pour boiling water
Microwave
Drain water
Eat.
Why would you break it up so that the noodles are shorter? I've always liked long noodle strands...

I don't break it in half I break it into 1000 pieces. I break the noodle block up into many little pieces (which is harder to do than it seems without getting noodle shards flying everywhere). I always assumed everybody done this?
When I eat those I always cook 2 packets at once as 1 packet is not enough. What annoys me thoguh is that there are only 5 packets in the bundled pack. They should make it either 4 or 6.
