It concerns me that there appears to be a number of people that for some reason, seem inherently opposed to this country, when it is probable that this country took in their parents, grandparents or earlier family members and gave them a second chance. I question whether they would lead happier lives overseas, however that is essentially besides the point.

This thread has gotten to the stage where it has become a ridiculous discussion that has nothing to do with the original topic. Since it appears that these protests have subsided, at least for the time being, this thread is to be closed. Any further developments on the original topic can be discussed in a new thread.
