What are you interested in? Environmental engineering is fairly different to mining engineering which is fairly different to aerospace engineering etc etc...

You are going to have a bad time with that attitude. I strongly suggest you ignore what gives good opportunities "and stuff". Having said that, civil engineering will give you the best opportunities of all engineering disciplines.

oh no - you have to consider both the opportunities "and stuff" AND what you like. but i'm thinking that OP doesnt know what he likes yet. but yes i suggest mechanical engineering - gets you into a range of industries that you may like and also requires maths and physics.

With your attitude I'd put money on you transferring/dropping out by the end of second year.

All the sciences are good haha, but especially the ones you actually enjoy. You said you enjoy maths and physics, so you could major in mathematics or physics or both in advanced science.

I'm not too sure since I'm not majoring in it, but generally at UNSW the advanced science degree it aimed at students who want to enter research, so there's always that.
