Musical Instruments

Hey, i was just wondering if anyone else on this board played a musical instrument? I play Flute, Piano and am learning the Oboe. Would be nice to get to know fellow musos. Oh, i also do musicanship.

I have always wanted to learn the Bass Guitar but couldn't be bothered...

I play Piano, started when i was about 7 or 8? went up to 5th grade, quit, now relearning again

Learning guitar with a friend, for about a month and a bit now

Used to play clarinet at school, i liked it a lot, I think I should get one

And I am a master in playing the triangle!

Seriously, I wanna be like my high school music teacher... you hand her any instrument and she can play it... I would love to be able to do that but $$$$ limits the amount of instruments i can buy... that and disturbing the neighbours

I play...ed...the violin. When I was 9 I think, I had lessons for 9 months before my dad decided he hated my teacher and stopped me from lessons - but I continued playing by myself and taught myself to around grade 5 level...then stopped playing and my ability dropped remarkably.

I've also played the flute..and hehehe the recorder (at the opera house, TWICE!)

My brother plays the trumpet and has done musicianship...it's hard!

Played piano for 2 years till i was 7
Trumpet from year 4 - 7
self taught guitar and bass for the past 4 years.
can also play basic drums

I play the TRUMPET the best instrument ever!!!! Oh and also i play the cornet, and i used to play a bit of flugel horn and soprano cornet too. BRASS BANDS RULE!!!!!!!!

Violin Power!! I've only been playing a year though, but I still love it (even though I don't practise nearly as much as I should)

I used to play Piano, but I hated it.

I played the Violin for 3 years.. it annoyed my parents and myself..yet I continued

.. it sucked and I'll never play again- so if anyone wants a violin..you can have mine.

i used to play clarinet in primary school.
from when i was 11 i played piano, up to grade 5 last year when i quit cos i never practised and i didn't have the time for it.
i played the recorder in year 3 and 4 (it was compulsory!)
and i learnt simple guitar in year 8 music.
i would have liked to play a harp... that looks like fun, though there aren't many harp teachers!
