i can brag about my fridge- some interesting stalagmitic structures can be found there attesting to the extreme shittiness of Melbourne weather...

Monday morning Gippsland - ice covered on the grass, trees too - 3am this morning, never seen so much fog.

wow that is cold indeed! is gippsland campus in the latrobe valley region? im going to moe for my rural placement in a fortnight...should be fun

Yes, Gippsland campus is in the Latrobe Valley area. The campus is in Churchill - approx. 30mins from Moe.
Hope your placement is a good experience, I wouldn't mind working in remote area of Australia later on down the track - given some (at least 4-5yrs) experience that is.

I've checked the Koujien (the Japanese Oxford) and there are only two entries for inase. They're so complicated I can't read them. :p

When I went home to Albury it was freeeeeeezing..... I had to work at night too, we had minus temps some nights. But it wasn't even a particularly cold Albury winter...

Sydney isn't that cold any more..no more ice on the grass..no more dense fog..no more complaining @ school how stuffed the weather is..
wait then again i wake up at 11am and don't have uni yet!=P
