Do we have to show "two loops" - like the one in bio in focus

Or can we just show

temp rise ---> thermoreceptors detect --> sweat glands etc activated --> returns to normal temp.

Are we required to then say, a "negative feedback" occurs? - i.e. body temp drops --> ....

confused over this dot point

i'm guessing what you mean is do we have to show negative feedback of increase and decrease? if so no unless they say specifically how it deals with increase/decrease
you should definitely say its a negative feedback as it makes it return to normal. if you give me the exact question i can answer it :)

Depends on the weighing, this is as much detail as they come, if the weighing is less only do one loop and condense the information.

Remember you don't wanna waste too much time over detailing it for that mark and you don't wanna give them an excuse to reduce your marks :)

it will probably be a question like 'outline a temperature regulation measure in humans' or something like that. i've had probably 3-4 exams ask questions about homeostasis and never had to do more than 1 loop
