I'm at the end of year 11 and going into year 12 for the hsc. I failed almost all my subjects with n awards or ds on my report card because I didn't hand in assignments and study for tests which I really regret. Most of my subjects like math which I really struggled build up on to year 12 which I'm really concerned would effect my atar. Plus I chose subjects that I regret because it has nothing to do with my desired career and uni course.
So my question is can you repeat year 11 before the hsc?

If you have n-awards, you won't have a choice. You'll have to repeat.

Don't repeat unless you have to.
It won't affect your ATAR.

Well if they're making you repeat... then clearly they allow it...

But if it's just you making that choice, then I strongly suggest you don't.

N means a non satisfactory attempt

You can and will fail year 11 because of that

I hope you learn your lesson
