How do you integrate 1/sqrt(x)

the question is find the exact volume when the curve y=1/sqrt(x) is rotated around the x-axis from x=1 to x=3

Sorry I ended up getting it, I forgot to square it.
But it would help to know how to integrate 1/sqrt of x is thats possible, thanks

Let $\frac{1}{\sqrt{x}}=x^{\frac{-1}{2}}$

$\int \frac{1}{\sqrt{x}}=\int x^{\frac{-1}{2}} = 2x^{\frac{1}{2}} = 2\sqrt{x}$
