Difference in marks between your best and worst subjects?

Best - 92 (Disappointed) in 2 subjects Worst - 84 in English. So 8... Without English, it would be 3.

    General Thoughts: Economics

Eco is common knowledge, business is the syllabus. I always find eco papers easier then business ones... MC was a little hard, but not over the top. Short answers were piss easy. Q25 was nice and easy, and I wasn't prepared for 27 but don't think I done too badly. Hopefully 90+ raw.

What do people think will be the essay questions for economics?

Hopefully Environment OR Income inequality and Micro OR Labour market That would be perfect... I can do all 4 of em easily and a lot of people would struggle with micro/labour...

    Section 1 - Law & Society

Very nice explanation there, hopefully its right... Though I'm still fairly confident 2 is A...

    Section 1 - Law & Society

    2. "What is an essential feature of a just law" Natural justice is basically procedural fairness. A just law has nothing to do with procedural fairness. 11. "The NSW Government has passed a law to compensate victims of crime. What is this an example of?" Although it is the application of...

    Section 1 - Law & Society

Racism is covered by statute law, therefor it is best enforced at an Australia court, ie local court, rather than the AHRC.

    Participation Rate

My textbook defines it at labour force*100/working age population 15+ Does the working age population 15+ include retired people or not?

    Section 1 - Law & Society

As someone else has said, going by a past HSC one, its the local court. Its C. Constitutional law refers to laws set out in the constitution, does it not? I wasn't too sure either, but by the process of elimination its C. Overriding is changing the law, but it is not changing that feature of...

    Section 1 - Law & Society

Override, yes. But the question specifically said CHANGE. Once again, it can outweigh, but not change? I'm not disagreeing with A, but the wording of D makes it correct aswell?

    2006 MC question7 HELP

I understand where your coming from, but the quota refers to the number allowed in.

    Section 1 - Law & Society

There is no way that 2 is B. It's A (maybe D but unlikely.) I think you have 8 wrong, but I had A as well... Can someone provide a quote from a text book or something proving that 7 is not D? I understand that A is a key feature, but sometimes there is no precedent. I've always been under the...

    2006 MC question7 HELP

The quota has decreased before there is less supply, ie more limited. For example, it was 1000, but now its 800.

    Section 2 - Crime

Did seem longer than usual. For the last one I basically done reasons why people commit crimes (as thats non-compliance), combined with creating a social order through education, regulation and coercion (and deterrence). Had another couple of things in it as well, but I forget them. Didn't...

    Section 1 - Law & Society

I'm pretty sure 2 is A, natural justice is more to do with a trial, not the law itself. I'm not sure on 7 or 8, but I don't think 8 is D as a treaty may, or may not be put into domestic law. Other than that, the rest are the same as mine. So that should be 12+.
