Wow, no one made a film in 2002

I had a couple friends do videos last year. I know one of them got 49/50 as well. How did you come to the conclusion that know one did a video?

Who's going to UNSW? (the first post in the UNSW forum)

yeah - I'm at unsw. Doin B International Studies ---which so far seems to be a glorified arts degree :)

    does DUX=smartest???

Agreed. :D I would find it hard to belive that anyone could assume that they are intellectually supierior to someone else purely on the grounds of their UAI. "Things just aren't that simple". --->Donnie D

    media and communications

Are you just basing that on the UAI cut-off. UNSW is lower simply because they have a bigger program and let more students into the course.

    Bands that you hate

hahaha -- Selwyn performed at an awards ceremony I was at. I'll give him credit for not lip-syncing (I was in the 2nd row) but having to give someone credit simply for "not-faking" says that something is seriously wrong

    Tennis

yeah...I'll raise my hand. Actually I'm watching the tennis right now eventhough I haven't played since the end of the last school season. I have been seriously thinkin about playin some social comps once I get around to organising myself etc. I got knida sick of how competitive it was...

    I sold out.

maybe your parents just think that arts and commerce are two degrees that are a waste of time. Personally I think that is a great combination to take at this time in our lives unless we happen to be totally set on what we want to do for the rest of our lives. Arts and commerce are both pretty...

    Best albums of 2002

well, lets see what I can remember here....... Augie March - Strange Bird (totally agree with Butterfly Wings here) John Mayer - Room for Squares...yes, it was too produced etc. etc. but I still give this guy respect although it appearently seems he's more of a teenie pop idol than he...

    I sold out.

it seems to me that law is overrated anyways. Unless you have a serious passion for it *I* wouldn't recommend it. Contray to popular belief most lawyers are far from rich unless they become a senior parter of a major law firm. From what I've heard from my father who works at a major bank the...

    no idea

hahaha ---- I've changed my preferences probably more than once every two days since I got my UAI.

    fee paying courses

So I'm considering the option of taking a full-fee paying course. But I'm wondering how much of a stigma is attached to those who do this. Are you looked down on because you didn't live up to the same UAI scores as everyone else? I mean, hell I'm sure I and everyone else would eventually get...

    Bands that you hate

There's a very big difference between "instant success" and writing one of the "greatest songs ever". There's always exceptions to the list I made and most of the time the fact that they are exceptions is what makes them great. Most of the time bands starting off being differnt and then...

    Bands that you hate

There is a certain skill that, if you posses it you have a large chance of pop music success, no matter what type of music you play... This is songwriting. Powerderfinger can do it, Blink 182 can do it, Avril...etc There are masters like U2, bon Jovi - you just can't dispute the number...

    2002 UAI's

91.25 93 would have got me into my preferred course, but I'm still pretty happy with it...
