algebraically, I just forgot to include the zero at the end. I set it equal to zero, and considered both cases (minus and plus). Then did it again (in one of them as the other was equal to zero) as there was an absolute value still. Then tested a point between -2 and 2 (not zero obviosuly)...

When I try to do the questions as fast as possible, I always get 'tricked' by those fine details. I just trust that hopefully when I check my work at the end of my exam, I'll pick up on those little things that may have 'tricked' me.

Nah, cause the course i need is like 95, and I can get 5 bonus points but then I need at least 90 ATAR.

Just wanting to know from past students who have received an ATAR that does not match the cutoff for their course (by a very small amount), and how they coped with this. I need a 90 ATAR for my course and I'm really scared I'll fall short somewhere between 89.5 - 90 Just want a heads up of...

Osama Elias (a previous BOS user - known for making the REVISED AND EDITED Ahmad Shah notes) re-did his HSC even though he got like a 92 Atar the first year. He got like a 97 Atar after he re-did it. It's all up to you. If you think you feel comfortable repeating then do it. People will say...
