well, i'd say, The Phoenix past papers, topic by topic, is the best and most popular text book for you to practice. Other then that, i would also get Trial papers from different schools, ask your teacher for it, im sure they hav heaps, my teacher gave me a whole folder filled wif Trial papers...

    australia and imf

yup, i havent really researched australia and the IMF so im not sure. But the IMF helps out on short term problems, like CAD, so if there was problems in australia's CAD, then perhaps the IMF could be involved.

How'd You all Go... Aahaha beat you all to it...

i know, some essay questions require stacks of theories, and others, alot of statistics and facts. i think if you are able to shove alot of facts and statistics in with abit of theory, you will go good, no matter how crap you think you went.

4u maths text books: which to buy??

of course, but sometimes in my case anyway, their shortcuts are very difficult to understand, and if i work a solution out myself, at least i will understand it. But you have a point there. I think the Phoenix past papers books was the most useful for me, cause the solutions there were very good.

4u maths text books: which to buy??

true, but some solutions in Terry Lee, are very complicated, takes a while for me to understand, and i probably end up making up my own solutions anyway:)

4u maths text books: which to buy??

i'd say if you really want to go good in maths, forget about the worked solutions. Its just an incentive for you too keep looking at it if you dont know how to do it, and never give it a try. Not having worked solutions, encourages you to actually try and try harder until you can get the answer...

thats the main reason why they revised the HSC for 2001/02 cause there was too much calculations, now its more english and writing based. I dont think there was much calculations in this years one, well projectile motion anyway. So i guess they want the physics to be more writing, less...

    Studying for 2003 hsc

If you are a person who doesnt like Physics then do what i do. Just make notes according to the syllabus, writing notes on each dot points. Memorise and learn the notes you write, and jus go through excel when your tests are near, this will give you an okay mark. But if you want to do better...
