If anyone's interested I have some 2nd hand student oils along with oil and glaze medium, and also some canvasses. It's all in good condition, send a pm if interested. Much cheaper than buying new. :)

It shouldn't be too hard if you apply for youth allowance. Combined with rent assitance, you can probably get about $200 a week, and you are allowed to earn up to $230 per week (I think), before they start reducing your allowance.

Eh, I'll most likely do Honours in the B. Mus(Comp) and then possibly go on to Masters or Doctorate or something. It all depends on what's involved though - I don't have much of an idea atm. Composition projects would be easy, but I'm not too keen on research/analysis. Being able to get a job...

Had two close calls - once I almost ran into the back of someone, after being distracted, and the second time I did a 180 after taking a downhill corner too fast and over-correcting, fortunately not running off the road. Suffice to say I drive sensibly now. ^.^

Have a look around the net - particularly, check the whirlpool forums, as they have a list of online game stores. Sometimes you can pick up old games at certain stores - they have old copies that never sold, etc. This worked for me with SW:Kotor.

aye, higher voltages generally allow for faster clock speeds, but there is more heat, and often shorter lifespan. In many cases you can change voltages such as CPU through BIOS, but most nvidia graphics cards need hard mods to change it (ATI's can be soft modded I think). Have a look at BIOS...

I built a decent budget gaming system for about 700-800, monitor excluded. After overclocking it runs very well - gives about 10950 on 3dmark03. Asus K8N4-E (skt 754) Sempron 2800 7600GS 512Mb Corsair RAM 80Gb SATA plus case and psu, and windows.
