Confused about delta H for spontaneous reactions

hmm ok. Do we have to know how to find if a reaction is spontaneous or not? Or is that outside syllabus?

Confused about delta H for spontaneous reactions

Ok i have over thought this too much, what is the delta H of a spontaneous reaction? I thought -ve delta H would be spontaneous, but then i realised combustion has a -ve delta H, and you have to put some energy in for combustion (eg. lighting it). So therefore +ve delta H is spontaneous? This...

Go to disadvantages for radioisotopes in industry and medicine?

So benefits for radio isotopes are pretty easy- Sr 90 in industry is good because higher quality materials, doesnt have to be replaced often, can be automated etc. and Tc 99m in medicine is good because better diagnoses therefore better public health, allows for greater research etc. But...

Color of Iron (II) Phosphate precipitate?

Hey guys, just been consolidating my notes for identification of anions, and for PO4 i add Fe2+ which gets you Fe3(Po4)2- an insoluble ppte. However, one of my notes says this ppte is green, but after looking it up to make sure- wikipedia says its brown? What's correct?
