    Steps In FPD

Fesability studies refer to both technical and financial fesability Technical: whether the manufacturer can do it with the equipment they have or whether they have to buy new stuff and whether they need to teach the staff Financial: whether the product will make enough money for the company and...

    General thoughts?

Retreat from the global was pretty good, about preservation and rejection. Hahaha my story was a little effed up though and not in the really bad writing style (although it was probably that as well). My protagonist was literally insane and thought the seedling was a human thing and she didn't...

Supplementary Material - Retreat From the Global

"The Weeping Camel" a documentary narrative by Byambasuren Dava and Luigi Falorni and "Long, Clear View" a short story by Tim Winton from "The Turning" work well

    Retreat From The Global

Me too. I'm so over study and its making me angry cos i've done nothing but study for basically 2 months. I can't wait till next tuesday...as a matter of fact i can't wait till 11:30 tomorrow. After this exam i never want to see the words: -global -local -symbiotic -hybridity -dialectical...

    How were your trials?

I know this post is a little late...HSC in 5 days. But i killed our trial. I got 93%, but i think it was an easy test...apart from the AFI question which was a bitch but otherwise i thought it was easy...hope the HSC is that good. Good luck to everyone

    Retreat From The Global

I feel really sorry for all the people who have crappy EE1 teachers. I don't think i would have made it through the course without my teacher...she's awesome! Anyway good luck to everyone on friday...lets hope the people who wrote the exam weren't feeling particualrly nasty when they wrote it.

What questions did you get wrong?

I thought that question was pretty ambiguous. I just did the area of the 2 circles

What do the teachers think of ur year?

The teachers loved our year. Most of us anyway. We've got a pretty mixed bunch. There's a few really really intelligent people who will go awesome in the HSC and then there's the average people then there's the drops kicks who are only there so they don't have to get a job or whatever...but...

    the exam was fubar

Hated text one and didn't really see the relevance of it to the journey. Yea i know he was a travelling story busker or whatever screwed up hippy profession he did but the text wasn't exactly packed with techniques...hated all three texts...in fact hated the whole exam...scratch that, hate...

What questions did you get wrong?

I couldn't remember the area of a rhombus so i did 2x1/2bh...hope it worked hahahaha. Didn't even look at q10 and i'm pretty sure i screwed up 9b. I probably made sooooooooooooooo many stupid mistakes. Hope scaling works in my favour and would hate to see my raw mark cos it would be pitiful

    Hospitality

I thought it was an alright exam. I was lucky for Q21 cos just b4 i went into the exam room i read heaps of stuff on emerging markets, labour issues and government initiatives. I talked about: Emerging markets: eco-tourism and baby boomers Labour issues: shortage of skilled labour in Aust Gov't...

    Module A - Transformations

I thought this was a really good question. I did emma/clueless and talked about social structures and the status of women in society. It was good for me cos all my notes were basically based around those 2 elements...HOORAY NO MORE ENGLISH!!!

    Module B - Gwen Harwood

This was my worst essay. I hated the question so much that i left it til last and only had 1/2 an hour to do it cos i got a bit carried away with module A. I'll be surprised if i even get 5/15 for Harwood, cos it really was the most terrible essay i've written in my life and i've done some shockers.

How To Write An Imaginative Journey?

That's a very simplistic approach to imaginative journeys and where a lot of people go wrong when attempting to create one. They involve some sort of transformation and for this transformation to occur there must be reflection, speculation and inspiration and anything the syllabus says about...

    Harwood

Our trial did...but our teacher did that deliberatley so that we'd perpare all of the poems. She said that this module has been running for a few years now and they need to find more ways to challenge us. So prepare all the poems but specialise in two. Hope that helps
